Oil on canvas board: 49cm wide x 65cm high (framed)
As my work moves in and out of spaces and realms I explore both the connectedness and dislocation of being human.
In this I am reminded of Rumi’s ‘Guesthouse’ poem as we welcome in or turn our backs to daily visitors.
And the practical stuff - I love to recycle and repurpose - make use of the things that humans or nature discard. These paintings are created on canvas board and framed with rescued hardwood screen-printing frames that were destined to be replaced with aluminum and sent to landfill.
